Glimmers of Hope is a youth-led non-profit organization based in Markham, Ontario.
During and after the COVID-19 pandemic, we have found that many youth in our community have been struggling with their mental health, many of which are unable to attend school. In addition, many are unable to access or afford support and many families are uneducated or hold stigmas against mental health. Glimmers of Hope was created to tackle these challenges by providing tailored support to youth in our community.
Fundraising to local charities that support youth and mental health, such as Room for a Child and 360Kids.
Through fundraising events and educational opportunities, we aim to destigmatize mental health issues and provide youth with the tools and resources they need to cope with the challenges they are facing.
We aim to assist youth with their educational journey by providing local volunteer opportunities to fulfill their OSSD
